The Pars face a tricky start welcoming Ian McCall's ever-improving Dundee Utd side to East End Park on the 7th August. The last time the two teams met United edged out a 3-2 win at Tannadice shortly before the end of the season.
The Pars follow up the visit of Dundee United with a trip north to either Inverness or Aberdeen - your guess is as good as mine's just now - to face First Division champions Caley Thistle on August 15th.
However, it is the third game of the season that will no doubt interest Pars fans
the most. The visit of a certain Jimmy Calderwood's Aberdeen side on the 21st August promises to be a very interesting encounter for all concerned.
