UNANIMOUS 'NO' TO PLASTIC PITCH

Cheerio Cheerio Cheerio!
The SPL board have 'unanimously' voted against the Pars being able to play on the plastic pitch should relegation be avoided.

After hearing the case form the Pars, UEFA and FIFA only a week or so ago, the SPL jobsworths took time to 'consider the case' (in other words, make it look to the FIFA bigwigs like they were doing something).

Should the impossible occur and Jim Leishman, or whoever, inspires the Pars to safety then it will be bye-bye to the much-maligned plastic pitch intime for next season.

Of course with teams like Livingston and Dundee being given yonks to sort out their finances and come out of administration (or in Livingston's case, remian in administration) you would think that the SPL would give the Pars the chance to adjust their finances etc accordingly to deal with the loss of the plastic pitch.

But then again, this is the SPL we're talking about!! Call me cynical, but I somehow would have envisaged a different outcome had it been Celtic or Rangers that were playing their games on a  plastic pitch....
