Despite offers from clubs in Russia and Poland, Slovakian midfielder Miroslav Barcik has his heart set on a move to the Pars this summer - as long as the Pars avoid relegation that is.

Barcik's agent stated the midfielder's desire to join the club this summer as the Pars look to find a solution to the left-sided problem at the club.

Jozef Tokos - Barcik's agent - said: "Miroslav has better offers from Poland, Russia and Greece but wants to move to Scotland."

"Obviously it would be important to Miroslav that Dunfermline stay in the top competition but that is where he wants to go."

After impressing on a short-term trial in January, Barcik was offered a pre-contract deal by the Pars due to the the Pars reluctance to fork out a transfer fee for the Slovakian internationalist.
