SLOVAK ON TRIAL AT PARS

As the on-going search for a striker continues, the Pars coaching staff will cast their eye over Slovakian internationalist Miroslav Barcik in a short-term trial period at the club.


The 26 year-old - currently plying his trade for Slovakian side MSK Zilina - has been capped 30 times by his country in a career which has seen Miroslav frequently switch from midfield to attack.

Although it is in the playmaker's role where the Slovakian is said to perform at his best, consistently performing well for his country in this role.

In Other News...Macedonian striker Georgi Hristov is set to undergo a medical at East End Park today (Tuesday) before discussing the possibility of a work-permit application.

After impressing in his recent trial period at the club, the issue of a work-permit could well prove to be the only stumbling block in the ex-Barnsley striker's move to the Pars.
