SANDY CLARK TO LEAVE PARS

Despite enjoying a very successful campaign, leading the U21's to 4th in the league, Sandy Clark is set to leave the Pars as part of Davie Hay's backroom staff reshuffle.

The Pars and Sandy Clark are attempting to thrash out a compensation deal for Clark after it was revealed that his services were no longer required at the club.

Clark was brought in at the start of last season in order to coach the U21 side, a shrewd move which payed off after Clark led the young team to their best finish in many years.

Sandy Clark's reign as U21 coach saw the emergance of such young talents as Craig Wilson and Patrick Clark who cemented their place in the U21 side.

His reign also saw players such as Gary Dempsey, Ritchie Byrne and Aaron Labonte successfully make the move up to the full team.

I'm sure the Pars fans will join with me in thanking Sandy for his time at the club and would wish him all the best for the future.
