PARS TO FACE PARTICK

As a seeded team in the CIS Cup draw, the Pars could have been drawn against unseeded teams such as Calderwood's Aberdeen or rivals Falkirk, instead the Pars were drawn at home to Partick Thistle.

Derek Whyte and Gerry Britton's men will travel to East End Park in the week beginning the 20th of September.

After defeating Partick 3-0 on the road to the Scottish Cup Final last season, the Pars will be hoping for a similar end product this time around.
