PARS TO EXPECT SPANISH INQUISITION

Hearts striker Ramon Pereira could soon be set to lead the Pars attack.
The Pars could be set to secure the services of two Spanish strikers as the goalscoring crisis shows no sign of improving at East End.

The services of Hearts striker Ramon Pereira and Partick Thistle forward Juan Roman Escalas are currently being pursued by the Pars coaching staff as the Pars striking problems become ever more apparent.

Hearts forward Pereira - out of contract at the end of the season - has also attracted interest from Dundee, although Pars Chairman John Yorkston and manager Davie Hay have both declared the club's interest in the player.

Pars fans may have to wait that bit longer for any possible arrival of Juan Roman Escalas however, with the Pars reportedly looking to secure the big Spaniard on a pre-contract agreement - with Escalas subsequently joining the Pars at the end of the current campaign.
