Despite reports suggesting that the youngster would almost definately not be signing for the Pars, Maradona Jnr's adviser Dr Guido Barbato has described the deal as "highly likely", adding "It's just a matter of dotting the i's and crossing the t's."
The only real problem appears to be the amount of compensation due to be paid to Napoli, as Maradona is under 23, however due to the fact that the Italian club are currently in administration, money may not be a problem.
However, with so twists and turns already in this on-going saga, one could be forgiven for failing to take this latest development as set-in-stone!
