"It's a load of s**t!"
Pars captain Scott Thomson has vehemently denied rumours that he could be set for a move away from the Pars, describing the specualtion as a load of s**t.

Thomson - out with a toe injury but set to return for Saturday's encounter with Hibs - was reportedly walking around Dunfermline town centre on Saturday at the time of the Pars' loss to Celtic - quick, call the sheriff! This led to fans suggesting that relations had broken down between players and management in the club.

Of the rumours Thomson said: "There's no truth in it at all, the website's (dafc.net) just a load of rubbish. I don't read it but apparantely I'd had a bust-up with Davie Hay and I was off to Aberdeen. It's a load of s**t and I'm sure the gaffer will tell you the same."

Manager Hay and his Assistant Kirkwood also shot down the rumours claiming that up to eight of the injured players did not attend Saturday's match at Celtic Park.

With the club not exactly enjoying the best of times on the park in recent months I'm sure everyone at the club could well do without pure-and-utter nonsense rumours off the park aswell!
