NIGERIAN INTERNATIONAL JOINS ON TRIAL

Last updated : 04 January 2005 By Pars Mad
After losing out on the signature of Stevie Crawford the Pars have taken Nigerian Internationalist Minabo Asechemia on trial.

The 24 year-old - with seven international caps to his name - has recently plyed his trade for Maltese club Marsa after spending his early years in Nigerian football.

Although Minabo has been brought to the Pars in a possible striking capacity, the Nigerian has spent most of his career as a central or defensive midfielder best known for his grit and strength.

The Nigerian has, in more recent times, enjoyed trials at Polish side Wisla, Danish side Viborg and English League One side Bristol City.
