Mr Iceland 2003 arrives!

Gardar Gunnlaugsson has finally arrived at East end park, but not the owner of an 18 month contract as expected. The former Icelandic Under 21 internationalist has joined on a loan basis to the end of the season, with an option to sign on for longer. Of course Dunfermline have inserted a clause which means if the D.A. go down, or he's absolute gash, then the deals off.

Let's hope he has his modelling career fully on the back burner now (Gardar was voted Mr Iceland in 2003) and that he settles in well in Dunfermline. Although his wife will no doubt turn a few pars fans heads on the high street, herself being a Miss Iceland.
