Ex-captain Robbo now second in command
Whereas waking up on Monday morning to the news that Davie Hay et al had been sacked was surprising, this morning has brought somewhat less surprising news.

The appointment of Jim Leishman as Pars caretaker manager was inevitable yet great news when it came. Ex-Pars heroes Craig Robertson and Hamish French will assist Jim as the Pars look to stave off the threat of relegation starting with Saturday's match against Dundee.

With last Saturday's 2-0 loss to Livingston signalling an absolutely low for both Pars players and fans, Leish's appointment will surely now generate a mass of optimism ahead of the final three games.

Jim's motivational skills and the fact that he bleeds black and white will surely only inspire the players to give their all. And the sight of Jim Leishman jumping around the touchline once again will surely be an inspiration to the fans once again.
