Macedonian internationalist Georgi Hristov will today (Tuesday) take part in a bounce match at East End Park in a bid to win a contract with the Pars.

The 28 year-old - with 48 international caps to his name - has joined the Pars on a short-term trial in a bid to solve the Pars striking problems.

Despite being a consistently prolific goalscorer in the Dutch league in recent years - at clubs such as NEC and FC Zwolle - Hristov's career suffered a setback when he suffered a cruciate ligament injury, laying the striker out for a number of months.

Hristov has also been joined on trial by a Finnish international striker with more than 20 caps to his name, as Davie Hay looks to solve the Pars goalscoring crisis.

Hay also confirmed at Monday night's Fans Forum that the club have enquired about the availability of Hearts' Spanish striker Ramon Pereira. The ex-Raith Rovers striker - recently linked with a move to Notts Forest - is out-of-contract at the Tynecastle side in the summer and a move to East End in the near future could well be a possibility.
