FIFE DERBY DAY SOLD OUT

The Pars in action against East Fife in the summer
The Pars ticket allocation for the Scottish Cup Third Round all-Fife tie against East Fife sold out within hours of going on sale yesterday.

The 800 allocation was snapped up hours before the Pars took to the field against Livingston at East End Park yesterday.

With many die-hard Pars fans missing out on a ticket for the cup tie, you'd have to wonder just how many of the fans who so eagerly snapped up the cup tie tickets yesterday braved the freezing conditions at Easter Road last week - 800 into 375 somehow just doesn't go! - or travelled to places such as Celtic Park or Pittodrie to follow their team this season!

Having said that, at least if the Pars do have a decent run in the Scottish Cup this season we might yet see a re-appearance from some of the 18000 Pars 'fans' who turned up at Hampden for the Cup Final in May.

The East Fife ticket allocation - roughly 1200 - is on sale now and will be - depending on availability - for the next few weeks.
