Queen of the South will add recently signed striker Colin McMenamin to the squad for the trip.
Rocco Quinn is also available after training along with the rest of the squad this week.
Dunfermline manager Jim McIntyre: "It will take a huge effort to get this game played but we are hoping that it does go ahead.
"Having lost a late goal to Raith Rovers to draw on our last outing, some four weeks ago, we are really keen to get playing again."
Queen of the South manager Kenny Brannigan:
"We have been indoors with the players now for two weeks so everyone is bursting for a game. It would be great if it could be at East End Park so we will just have to keep our fingers crossed.
"I would love the game to go ahead but only if it is safe for people to watch it."
