Dunfermline striker Pat Clarke is pushing for a start after scoring from the bench against Montrose on Saturday. The Pars are minus four players with keeper Greg Paterson, defender Jack Ross and midfielder Steven Bell all injured and winger Willie Gibson ill.

Montrose defender Jonathan Crawford is out with a knee injury but midfielder Chris Hegarty returns from suspension.

Player/manager Steven Tweed - who played for the first time in three months on Saturday - could start again.

Dunfermline manager Jim McIntyre: "We had most of the game on Saturday but fair play to Montrose for the way they came back at us at a time when too many of our players thought the game was over.

"If we take the chances we create this time I am sure we will do okay."

Montrose manager Steven Tweed: "The week before against Arbroath our oldest player was only 26 and I decided that we needed some experience in our line-up for facing a really good Dunfermline side.

"I came back in and so did Paul Tosh, who at 37 is a year younger than me, and it worked with Paul grabbing both our goals."
