Dunfermline V Hamilton at East End Park - Match Preview

Wallace missing for Pars

Dunfermline will be without Ryan Wallace against visitors Hamilton Accies as the striker is suffering from an ankle injury.

The East End Park side are looking for their fans to turn out in great numbers to help fund their way through administration.

John Potter should return after a knock but Andy Geggan and Calum Morris will both be required to pass fitness tests, however it looks like Craig Dargo will miss out due to an ankle problem.

"We need to get points on board and that makes this a really big game," boss Jim Jefferies, whose side have a points penalty hanging over them, said.

"The application from the players has been great and it would be great if a big crowd turned up to back them.

"Hamilton have given us hard games when we had a full squad so this will be challenging."

Hamilton will be under the control of captain Alex Neil and Academy Director Frankie McAvoy for the trip following a parting of the ways with long-serving manager Bill Reid.

Neil is likely to be restricted to just a coaching role due to a knee injury with Gary Fisher missing out because of suspension.

Louis Longridge is a doubt with a back problem and Kieran Millar remains absent due to a knee injury.

"It has been a strange couple of days as the gaffer was a huge figure here," Neil said.

"We will look to move on at East End Park and we have to be up for it as Dunfermline are showing a great spirit that has been borne out of the troubles they are going through."
