Dunfermline V Forfar at East End Park - Match Preview

Pars welcome back Johnston

Dunfermline welcome back Luke Johnston from injury to give manager Jim Jefferies an injury and suspension-free squad as they look for revenge after a 4-1 defeat from Forfar earlier in the season.

The Pars enjoyed a 1-0 Scottish Cup replay win over Ayr on Wednesday to secure a fifth round tie away to Rangers, however manager Jim Jefferies has told his players to concentrate only on league business.

Jefferies said: "It was a great win but we can forget about it until February and look to consolidate our play-off place. We gave away poor goals against Forfar in last game but we have learned from that."

Forfar skipper Stuart Malcolm can play against the Pars as he has just completed a one-game suspension and starts his next one on Tuesday in the Scottish Cup.

Martyn Fotheringham has been ruled out with an ankle injury and Dale Hilson will be missing after a hamstring problem with manager Dick Campbell looking for another success against his former side.

Campbell said: "The 4-1 win was a terrific day however I would settle for a 2-1 or even a 1-0 in this game. We have got ourselves back to the fringes of the play-off race and intend to get even closer by winning at East End Park."
