Dunfermline V Ayr at East End Park - Match Preview

Geggan boost for ParsDunfermline midfielder Andy Geggan has recovered from a knock and is included in manager Jim Jefferies' fully-fit squad for the visit of Ayr United.Jefferies has targeted a third league win of the season over the Honest Men to help the Pars consolidate second place. He said: "We had Forfar last Saturday, Ayr this Saturday and Stranraer next Saturday and if we get the lion's share of points from these games then we are getting really close to start making plans for the play-offs."However we are not going to get too far ahead of ourselves as Ayr are a dangerous side."Ayr striker Michael Moffat serves the second game of his four-match suspension imposed on him by the SFA for breaching betting rules and he is the only absentee from player-manager Mark Roberts' squad.Roberts said: "As well as the three league defeats Dunfermline also knocked us out of the Scottish Cup

We could face them in the play-offs and if that happens I want us to have the knowledge that we can get a result over them."We played well against Rangers last weekend and a repeat of that level of performance would be great."
