Dunfermline V Alloa at East End Park - Match Preview

Wallace out for Pars

Dunfermline will fight for their First Division place against Alloa without striker Ryan Wallace.

Wallace misses out through suspension, although a shoulder injury looked set to keep him on the sidelines regardless.

The Pars have doubts over Andy Geggan, who limped out of the warm-up ahead of Wednesday night's 3-0 first-leg defeat, and Chris Kane who has an ankle knock.

Callum Morris remains absent with a hamstring problem, with Pars boss Jim Jefferies saying: "The first leg has gone. We cannot do anything about it and there is no point in feeling sorry for ourselves.

"We recovered from a 3-1 defeat from Forfar by scoring six times so we know that we can score. It may also work to our advantage that the pressure to be successful is on Alloa now."

Alloa are confident midfielder Ryan McCord will recover from the leg knock that saw him substituted in Wednesday night's game to feature.

Jason Marr is expected to miss out again with a hamstring problem with manager Paul Hartley stressing to his men that the job is only half done.

Hartley said: "Before the first game I would have been happy to be level going into the second meeting as Dunfermline were the favourites.

"Going in 3-0 up is terrific but the game is not over and we will need intense concentration and focus to win promotion.

"They will come out roaring at us and they came back from a similar position to defeat Forfar 6-1 so things are not over yet."
