DUNDEE UTD v DUNFERMLINE - Match Preview

Last updated : 12 May 2005 By Pars Mad
After last week's excellent 5-0 demolision of Dundee the Pars go into their second last game of the season second bottom on goal difference. In front of a travelling support estimated to be in the region of 2000-3000 nothing less than three points will do once again.

It's either three points this Sunday, in turn almost guaranteeing survival, or we can look forward to some depressing away trips next year...

No disrepect to any Stranraer, Brechin or Queen of the South fans but can you imagine coming away from these places on the end of a hiding...it would make suicide seem like a pleasant option! The choice ahead seems simple.

I do understand that the Pars away support at various times this season has been nothing short of shambolic but, and it might just be me, I know that I would prefer to travel to a more prestigous kind of ground on our travels next season. If us Pars fans can generate the same level of noise as we did last weekend then you can bet that, under the guidance of Leish, the players will respond in a similar fashion!
