Late Garry Fleming strike earns Dumbarton a draw
Dumbarton shared the points with fellow Ladbrokes Championship strugglers Dunfermline in a 2-2 draw at the Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium.
Visiting midfielder Kallum Higginbotham saw his chip hit the crossbar early on but it was second-bottom Dumbarton who took the lead when Robert Thomson slotted home Joe Thomson's 37th-minute cross at the far post.
However, Dunfermline turned the game on its head in the second half with goals from Nicky Clark and substitute Joe Cardle putting them 2-1 up and, with just eight minutes to go, they were on course for only their third victory of the season.
The Pars could not hold on, though, with Dumbarton levelling just two minutes after Cardle's strike through Garry Fleming to salvage a draw and stay just a point below their opponents in the standings.
