DEFENDER GIVEN CHANCE TO IMPRESS

The Pars could be set to add to their squad yet again, with the news that Queen Of The South youngster Chris Scott has been awarded a further week's trial by the Pars management team.

The 19 year-old right back has only spent four months at the Palmerston Park club since joining them from Sunderland in the summer. However Scott has so far failed to impress in his short stint at the First Division club.

The Gateshead born youngster has so far failed to adapt to life as a Part-Time footballer with Queens after his summer move from Championship side Sunderland.

With the Pars not exactly lacking in defensive cover, it would appear as though Scott will have his work cut out in an attempt to dislodge either Greg Shields or youngster Greig Ross from their right back berths in the first team and the reserve team respectively.
