Crawford in action for Plymouth
After failing to settle down south, Stevie Crawford looks set to sign for Dundee Utd after Hearts and the Pars dropped out of the race.

Once it had became clear that Stevie's club Plymouth would require compensation for the ex-Pars striker Dundee Utd emereged as the clear favourites such is Chairman Eddie Thompson's willingness to splash the cash.

With the Tannadice set to unveil Crawford at a press conference tomorrow at 1pm, it would appear that Crawford - and his agent! - have finally decided on a suitable destination for the striker.

Crawford's decision to join the releagtion strugglers will now force the Pars to look elsewhere in their bid to solve what - at times - has become something of a goalscoring crisis at East End Park.

Lets just hope that Stevie hasn't settled into his new club by the time United come calling on the 22nd of January!
