After impressing on his 28 day-long trial Danish striker Jesper Christiansen has signed an extended contract with the Pars, meaning the big forward will remain at East End Park until the end of the season at least.

Thanks to a series of impressive performances the 23 year-old
Dane convinced manager Davie Hay to extend his stay at the Pars, a stay which saw Jesper score his first goal for the club on Saturday against Dundee Utd.

"I wanted to remain in British football and this short-term deal with Dunfermline is ideal, I got the kind of deal I was looking for." said the big Dane.

After impressing fans with his excellent hold-up play and skill, Jesper's signing of the new contract could not have arrived at a better time, such is the club's current striker crisis.
