Fresh from last week's Bluetones/Draymin extravaganza at Velocity (or the Bawroom) the town continues to throw up quality music for the natives of Dunfy. This week it's the turn of PJ's in Canmore Street (right next door to Urban/just along from Life) to bring us indie kids some rock n roll!

With doors opening at 3pm in the afternoon - the same time as a, no doubt, pishy boring mid-table game kicks off up the road at East End - the night, labelled Weekend Revolution II, will play host to roughly six or seven local, and not-so-local, acts - the first act taking to the stage at around 5pm.

Solo artist Ewan Butler, Glasgow band Hi 5 Alive, and Dundee natives The Daze make up the foreign - i.e. not fae Fife! - contingent while Val Verde, The Manikees and local favourites The Draymin and Beatnic Prestige fly the flag for Fife. With the live music expected to finish at sometime around the midnight hour, DJ sets will see the night into the earlier hours…or 2am when it shuts, to be more specific!

A quality wee venue that can hold roughly 300/350 people, PJ's has been growing in reputation in recent months, attracting more and more bands who appear to be on the cusp of summit big. One hundred tickets are on sale for 3 notes each from PJ's/Sound Control/3rd Base before the event kicks off whereas any gadges without a ticket will get in purely on a first-come first-serve basis - so if we're getting fucked by Morton at half-time then it'd make sense to bash along early!

Promises to be a class night with plenty of bevvied-up locals and rocking tunes so you could do a lot worse than head up/down/wherever the fuck to PJ's this weekend. Up the D!!!
