ABERDEEN U19's 2 - 2 DUNFERMLINE U19's

On the same day that the full side welcomed the return of Mr Calderwood to East End Park the U19's made the long distance up north to Aberdeen.

Against one of the U19 League's best teams the Pars youngsters took the lead half an hour into the match thanks to a Steven MCGLINCHEY header after Phinn had sent in and impressive corner. The home side came back into the match however and took the lead before half-time thanks to goals from KIELY and a MCINNES penalty.

The Pars were not to be denied and fought their way back into the match through a PHINN equaliser in the 75th minute. This was enough to give the Pars a well deserved point to add to their opening day victory, all of which adds up to a fairly impressive start for the U19's.
